Grilled Chicken In Red Wine
December 27, 2016
Grilled Chicken In Red Wine is a perfect food for the cold winter evenings, especially because December is the month of the festivities. I had made the chicken in red wine a few months back and since then this is one of my favorites. Grilled Chicken in Red Wine is very simple to cook and tastes out of the world. The lovely aroma of the red wine and the freshness of the lemon and parsley along with the juicy and tender chicken is hard to beat. This is for all the wine lovers.
The Grilled Chicken in Red Wine goes well with rice. Also a perfect accompaniment with a glass of your favorite liquor.
This is how I made the Grilled Chicken In Red Wine :
1Make a marinate by making a paste from the garlic, ginger and the green chilies. Mix in the butter, salt and the black pepper.
2Marinate the chicken for about 4 hours.
3In a frying pan add some oil and saute the onion.
4Add the Chicken along with the paste and let it sizzle for a few minutes on medium flame.
5Add the Red Wine and cover the lid of the frying pan.
6Cook on low flame. Stir every ten minutes.
7Cook till the chicken is well cooked and has all the black marks. Should take about 40 to 50 minutes.
8For the smokey flavor, heat some cooking coal, place in a small bowl and keep the bowl in the center of the frying pan. Add a spoon of butter along with fresh thyme to the burning coal. Cover the frying pan with the lid so that the smoke is absorbed by the food.
9Add more butter if required.
10Uncover the lid to let the extra wine dry up.
Serve hot garnished with Parsley and a few drops of lemon Juice.
